“We started with a simple idea: that photographers grow faster together than alone.”
Ordinary Collective was founded in Dhaka by seven photographers drawn together by a shared restlessness a desire to make work that matters, to keep learning, and to open up photography to people who don’t yet know it’s theirs to practice.
We are a platform for exchange. We share knowledge, push each other’s work, and create real opportunities for photographers at every stage whether you’re just beginning, shooting on weekends, or building an independent practice.
Through workshops, photo walks, open discussions, and collaborative projects, we work to deepen photography education and expand participation in visual culture across Bangladesh. We believe access to this medium shouldn’t be limited by geography or circumstance which is why we are committed to bringing photography learning to communities beyond Dhaka, especially to young and emerging voices.
